Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Polymer Supramolecular Chemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Jason Davis for a period of up to 7 months with a possible extension subject to funding. The project involves the design and synthesis of anion responsive polymers.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area, (or be close to completion) prior to taking up your appointment. The research requires expertise in synthetic supramolecular and potentially polymer chemistry.
You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities, to supervise other team and lab activities when asked and to coordinate work to meet specified deadlines. You will also need to test hypotheses and analyse scientific data from a variety of sources, reviewing and refining working hypotheses as appropriate.
The post will be based in the Physical & Theoretical Chemistry, South Parks Road OX1 3QZ.
