首都醫學科學創新中心(簡稱創新中心)是北京市新成立的具有獨立法人資格的新型研發機構。創新中心以推動醫學科學發展、改善人類健康為目標,開展生物醫學研究,致力于提升醫學科學創新與成果轉化能力,提高疾病診斷和治療水平。我們將匯聚世界高水平科學家,與首都醫學教育和科學研究優質資源緊密合作,打造多學科交叉融合的科研平臺,綜合自由探索、醫學目標導向、有組織科研等途徑,實踐新型科研模式和體制機制,逐步推進醫教研產的深度融合,培養適應醫學科學創新發展的優秀人才。
二、實驗室介紹
首都醫學科學創新中心姜漢杰課題組現面向國內外招聘博士后與科研助理,課題組專注于利用化學生物學方法解碼蛋白質翻譯后修飾在癌癥和其他疾病中的功能,并探索潛在的疾病治療策略。課題組堅持科學點亮生活,鼓勵開放交流,支持成員學習成長,希望認真研究同時認真生活,立志為癌癥等疾病貢獻新的解題思路。如果你想一邊和志同道合的人們研究前沿科學,一邊享受實驗室的快樂氛圍,趕緊看過來!
姜漢杰研究員畢業于北京大學,本碩階段的導師為蒲小平教授,于2022年在約翰霍普金斯大學獲得藥理學與分子科學的博士學位,師從PhilipCole教授,期間主要研究泛素連接酶的功能調節和底物識別機制,之后繼續在哈佛醫學院/布萊根婦女醫院完成了博士后訓練,應用化學生物學手段探究泛素連接酶的催化機制。姜漢杰研究員于2025年2月加入首都醫學科學創新中心。
三、主要研究方向
1.開發和應用蛋白質半合成、分子探針等化學方法,研究酶及細胞信號通路中的蛋白質磷酸化、泛素化等翻譯后修飾。
2.探索蛋白質泛素及類泛素修飾的調控機制以及其在疾病發生中的病理機制,鑒別新的治療靶點。
3.開發靶向泛素化的合成生物學工具,為基礎研究和疾病治療提供新方法。
四、主要成果
1.發現HECT家族E3連接酶末端羧基參與泛素轉移的催化機制。
2.揭示HECT家族E3連接酶中的自抑制和激活機制。
3.開發特異性的蛋白質N端標記方法。

Laboratory Introduction
The Jiang lab at CIMR now has open positions for postdoctoral fellows and research assistants. The lab is dedicated to using chemical biology approaches to decode the functions of protein post-translational modifications (PTMs) in cancer and other diseases, with a focus on advancing innovative therapeutic strategies. Dr. Jiang graduated from Peking University with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees under the supervision of Dr. Xiaoping Pu. He received his Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences from the Johns Hopkins University with Dr. Philip Cole in 2022, where he studied the regulation mechanisms and substrate selectivity of HECT family E3 ligases. He then completed his postdoc training in the Cole lab at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he focused on illustrating the catalytic mechanisms of HECT E3 ligases using chemical biology approaches. Dr. Jiang joined CIMR faculty in February, 2025.
Major Research Projects
a. Developing and applying chemical methods, such as protein semisynthesis and molecular probes, to investigate protein ubiquitination, phosphorylation, and other PTMs in key enzyme and cellular signaling pathways.
b. Exploring the regulatory mechanisms of ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like modifications and their pathological roles in disease progression to identify novel therapeutic targets.
c. Designing and optimizing synthetic biology tools for targeted ubiquitination to provide innovative methods for basic research and translational medicine.
Major Contributions
a. Discovered the catalytic role of terminal carboxylate involvement in ubiquitin transfer by HECT E3 ligases.
b. Uncovered the autoinhibition and activation mechanisms in HECT E3 ligases.
c. Developed a specific protein N-terminal labeling method.

Qualifications
a. Have obtained or be about to obtain (within the past three years) a Ph.D. in life science, chemistry, pharmacology or a related field. Candidates with a strong background in fields, such as biochemistry and molecular biology, pharmacology, protein design or targeted-based drug development are preferred.
